Richmond’s Accessible Public Transport
Trams are a great way to get around Richmond and Melbourne and they are also one of Melbourne’s fun tourist experiences. The Number 70 tram down Swan Street stops at the street corner of your Richmond accommodation. The tram takes you to Federation Square in the heart of the Melbourne CBD with an excellent Tourist Information centre (see more about Melbourne attractions).
Alto Richmond is just a few minutes away from Melbourne CBD, close to the East Richmond train station. The Richmond station down the road is the rail hub to Melbourne’s east.
